Parker and Booth head Points

Norwich race ace Nigel Parker is the surprise leader of the 2L Stock Car King's Lynn Points Championship after the first meeting which took place at the Norfolk Arena last Saturday.

Parker currently enjoys a slender 3 point advantage over travelling West Country Ace 120 Shame Brown who made the long trip worthwhile with several excellent results and showed that his new shale car most certainly goes well whilst former track champion 499 david Aldous sits in third place just two points behind Shane.

Defeneding champion 511 Darren Barnett - who is going for his ninth title in ten years had a nightmare night and left the Norfolk Arena pointless.

Once again the unpredicatability of 2L Stock Cars was shown with only 3 of last year's top 8 retaining a place in the top 10 of the new table.

216 Dan Booth had an up and down night with success coming in the 1300 Stock Car Clive Grief Memorial before performing a gigantic rollover. Booth's feature race success was enough to give him a slender 1 point lead in the track championship over 666 Steve Stophin and 142 Lee Farrell.
