1300cc Saloon Stock Car News - confirmation `extra date 5th June' Stoke

 

Early interest in 1300cc Saloon Stock Cars has been healthy - it's now about getting the formula seen on track and our first demo meeting on 19th May saw several cars 'on track' and fingers crossed, the numbers may grow to 10 for the second outing on 5th June [ an added date to the calendar ] - All these events count for the £500 Startrax Championship at the end of the season and of course qualify for the World of Shale Championship at Sheffield on 28th October.

The top 12 shale points scorers from will qualify with then a further 12 `seeded' entries from SSCA promotions. There will be last chance qualifier on the day with the first 4 qualifying to form a 28 car entry.

TSR have been hugely supportive and we thank Paul and East Anglian drivers for their continued support in getting the formula established in the Midlands and North West. John Slack is one of the first Startrax debutees and has managed `wins' and a `rollover' during a destructive Kings Lynn weekend and we are hoping John will be representing Startrax at the Spedeworth hosted English Championship at Yarmouth Stadium this Sunday 3rd June at 5.30.pm.

This is a great formula to get into with self build cars from under £1000 to `on the key' painted and `ready to race' up to £5000. With a bigger fixture list planned for 2013 this IS the budget racers full contact stock car formula!
