Icebreaker update

Work has been ongoing this week to get the track and stadium ready for this weekend’s unlimited banger Icebreaker . This morning we took advise from a senior met office advisor who told us I quote “ king’s Lynn will get a very light dusting of snow  “ Based on this information  extra machinery has been brought in and the terraces and spectator area more or less cleared of the snow and ice .

The track was skimmed very late on this afternoon  and some of the pit area has been worked on all day with the remaining area to be work on tomorrow .

Yes we are aware of the current snow that is falling (that was not forcast) in the king’s Lynn area at the moment and is something we are monitoring. We will be at the track first thing in the morning to asses the impact this has had and we will hold a 8am track inspection and make a final decision then .

Whilst appreciating this is not an ideal situation  we thank fans for bearing with us.
