Brown and Moat Lead the Way

Following the start of the 2011 National Stock Car Season at the Norfolk Arena 120 Shane Brown and 673 John Moat have motored to the top of the Kings Lynn Points in the 2L Stock Car and 1300 Stock Cars respectively.

Brown's two All Comer race wins saw him hit the top in the 2L Stock Car chart but above pa performances by yellow grader 420 Ivan Street and an accomplished performance by 1992 World Champion 51 Paul Licquorice in a one off meeting sees them round off the top three. Defending Champion 499 David Aldous is in joint fourth place, 11 points behind brown.

Veteran 673 John Moat enjoyed a great night in the 1300 Stock Cars where victory in the Clive Grief Memorial was backed up with two runner up finishes in the heats. John currently leads the track championship with 214 Tom Youlds in second place after a great performance on saturday which saw him take two heat wins and looks a certainty for a red roof come the next grading. 142 Lee Farrell scored well for third spot and defending champion 216 Dan Booth ends the first grading period in fourth place and was the best points scorer of the Superstars.
